Milbank Recognized as Legal Advisor of the Year for Renewable Energy

Euromoney and Ernst &20Young Global Renewable Energy Awards Acknowledge Firm’s Significant Contributions
NEW YORK, September 20, 2008 – The international law firm Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP, who provides legal representation for MIDC, has been named “Legal Advisor of the Year” at the 5th Euromoney and Ernst & Young Global Renewable Energy Awards. The awards were established to recognize the projects, companies and individuals who have made significant contributions to the global renewable energy sector, and have demonstra ted best practices in renewable energy finance and development. Milbank was honored for excellence in legal and advisory services to the renewables industry. The awards, dubbed the “Green Oscars,” take place every year in conjunction with the Renewable Energy Finance Forum in London.
